Oh, Treethyme, you lucky duck. How did you do that? I'm green with envy, but I can wait...truly...I can. ; )

I'm about to start Rococo, by Adrian Trigiani. I love her stories of Italian families.

Roben - Jenny's publisher sent it. I think it was because of my Barnes & Noble connection, but I never used to get ANY ARCs at all. Now they're trickling in, but I never expected to get this one. Woot! And, need I say, all my Cherry-fan-friends are fighting over it. I've barely had time to start it because so much has been going on. I need to lock myself in a room with no phone or internet!

Halfway through BLACKOUT by Connie Willis.  Her first book in years and I am trying not to gulp it all down at once.

Tea-time for the Traditionally Built by Alexander McCall Smith, the 10th book in his No1 ladies' detective agency series.  A lovely place to visit.

I finished Deborah Crombie's In a Dark House last night--as good the second time as the first. I have no idea what I'm reading next...

Sandra Brown's Smash Cut.   I am trying to be a good reader and not end-read. There is a mystery that  I cannot wait to see how it turns out.

Just started James Patterson's, Sail. Can't recall who is collaborating on it but every time I read one of his books it reminds me of Bob M's comment, "Who in the writing world isn't writing with James Patterson?"  Cracks me up to think about it. : )

Jennifer Ashley's Pride Mates.

And may I just say that WILD RIDE was a) perfectly named and b) my new favorite Crusie/Mayer. I forced myself to stretch it out over a few days (I'm a fast reader) because I didn't want it to end.

I'm going to buy the audio version so my husband will be forced to listen to it on our next road trip. I KNOW he would like it but he'll never sit down and read it. Well, maybe now he would. He just got a nook, and he is suddenly reading again.

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, by Lisa See. It's an interesting look into earlier Chinese culture, everything from arranged marriages, to secret women's writings, and foot binding. I'm thoroughly enjoying this one.

Hush by Kate White and The Poacher's Son by Paul Doiron (for a book club).

Jill, I want to get to the book club but haven't read that book yet. I'll try to get there before it winds up.
